A landscape transformation for a young family home in Elsternwick, balancing a traditional heritage frontage with a contemporary backyard designed for modern outdoor living.

Natural stone paving, layered planting, and soft garden beds complement the home’s original character, while the rear landscape introduces curved timber decking, refined entertaining zones, and modern architectural detailing.

A key focus of the project was carefully working around the established ornamental pear trees, using their mature canopy to create privacy, softness, and a strong sense of permanence throughout the backyard.
